The village has a number of clubs and groups many of which meet at the Village Hall.
A monthly schedule of group meetings and activities can be found on the Notice Board page of this website and is also published on the Clifton Village Facebook Page
Meetings are held on the last Monday of each month, dependent on bank holidays. In the months from September to April, meetings are held in the village hall starting at 7.30pm. The cost is £5 per person, per meeting. This covers the cost of refreshments as well as paying towards a professional, expert speaker. Speakers cover a variety of gardening topics and some speakers run their own nursery and will bring along plants that are often not found in garden centres.
From April to August the group arranges outside visits, often to other gardens locally whose owners open their gardens as part of the National Garden Scheme raising money for charity.

The village art group meets twice a month, on alternate Tuesdays, starting at 2pm for 2 hours.
We are a small, friendly group and welcome all levels of skills including beginners. We work in watercolours, pastels and acrylics along with a variety of drawing materials. The subject matter varies from one session to another and includes work on flowers, still life, portraits and composition including abstracts. This makes for a variety of interest and experiences. All materials are provided along with refreshments.
The cost is £5 per session.
